The Bogeyman Has A Sweet Tooth
Bernie’s Bakery had been a part of Amity Park for over 80 years. The original Bernie was long gone, as was his son. His grandson lived out in California and left day-to-day operation of the bakery to the Head Baker, a wiry, small black man named Alfonso. Alfonso’s white hair and wrinkled countenance suggested he may have been there since the beginning.
Danny Fenton pushed through the heavy oak door and headed over to the display of Halloween doughnuts. It was the night before Halloween and Danny was making a snack run. The store hadn’t changed much in 80 years. Blond wood paneling waist high with plaster leading up to the
The Utility Bag Velma got out of Freddy van was just a cloth messenger-style bag. It slung over her shoulder and hung down by her hips and had room for just about anything she wanted to put in it. It was a dull orange that blended right in with her skirt and sweater. She walked the couple blocks to the highway. The sun, what could be seen behind an overcast day, was lowering the west. The air was cool but not unpleasant. She quite enjoyed the walk. There were only a couple people on sidewalk. She smiled at them as they passed. It was a really nice little village if getting away from it all was what you wanted.
There was police tape festoon a
Velma woke feeling violently ill. While waiting for the spasms to subside she looked around. She appeared to be lying on a cement floor inside some kind of wire cage. The cage was about five feet high and five wide with a wire frame door at the end. She was lying a few feet from the front of the cage but couldn't see how far back the cage went. Judging from the wire making up the cage it was designed to hold a large animals. Black plastic sheeting hung down on the outside of the cage blocking her view of the rest of the room. All she could see through the front was a sturdy, metal covered table in the center of the room and benches and cabine
The hunter had tracked his target through the forest, strangely elongated footprints with most of the weight carried on the toes. The trail lead into this small village but he had lost the trail when the target had taken to the paved roads there. The hunter had climbed to the top of this two story building in hopes of making a visual contact with the target.
The village was located on the shores of a small bay leading out to Lake Superior on Michigan's northern coast. A state road came down from a ridge, swept past the busy harbor at the foot of the bay before drifting back into the woods on its way to Wisconsin. The village stretched six bl

"No."
The word was spoken in the sharp, emphatic tones of a trainer correcting a dog.
Hank looked up to see a knife hovering just above him, quivering in the grip of two hands. One was the pink glove encased hand of Dr. Girlfriend. She was holding back the other hand, a slender hand with black fingernails. Hank's eyes followed the hand back up the arm to the figure of a young woman dressed in a smartly tailored but rather drab purple dress with white lace at the neck. A tiny hat with a giant daisy bobbling from it covered her head. It took a moment for Hank to recognize the woman.
"Kim? Dr. Girlfriend?"
"You are on probation, Missy," Dr.

Luann and the Runaway Boyfriend - Chap 12 -The End
It always comes as a shock to learn that Hollywood, Tinsel Town, City of Glamour and the stuff that dreams are made of is just a portion of the otherwise utterly prosaic Las Angeles, city of freeways, traffic jams and smog. Luann was driving, hands frozen to the wheel as she crept along the freeway at 70 per with cars blasting past her left and right. Gunther was navigating from the seat beside her, with maps spread all about him, his cell phone propped on the dashboard, its GPS app running. He had so many maps spread out that the other four were squeezed into the back seat. Fortunately the old pink Cadillac had been designed to seat three f

Later on Bernice would say that she hadn’t been able to sleep a wink after her date with Barry, so had gotten up early, packed and carried her stuff out to the car. She’d gotten into the back seat to wait, wrapped herself in a blanket against the early morning chill, pulled her hat low over her eyes and promptly fell asleep in the isolation of the car. Luann suspected that she was just faking being asleep so she wouldn’t have to answer any of the thousands of questions her friends were sure to ask. Whatever the case, they loaded the car quietly and slowly drove off for the Interstate, heading west for the coastal highway.

Tiffany was not amused.
“She can’t go on a date! We’re leaving for Seattle in the morning," she said, banging the hotel room's door open. "We’ve got to get packed for that.”
“What’s there to pack,” Luann countered. “We’ve been living out of our suitcases all along. Aside from that mess in the bathroom where it looks like your make-up kit exploded, we’re pretty much already packed.”
"He's talked to her for like five minutes then asks her out on a date. You know there's only one kind of guy that does that - pick-up artists!" Tiffany insisted. "He's not interested in her.

Luann and the Runaway Boyfriend - Chapter 8
Tiffany sulked in the back seat of her car the rest of the way through the Rocky Mountains. While there were no more episodes of explosive diarrhea, the hot sauce she’d drank continued to burn its way through her body. She felt humiliated, embarrassed and uncomfortable. And it didn’t help that she kept being teased about her “boyfriend” Bigfoot. She expected that sort of trash talking from the like of DeGroot and Knute but it really hurt when Crystal, her BFF, joined in with the laughter. It also kind of hurt to realize that that monster, Bigfoot or whatever had been nicer to her, had carried her to the roadside when s
